Black Water Tattoo and Design opened in 2015 to bring something new and fresh to the Northern Virginia tattoo scene. Since then we have dedicated ourselves to providing quality tattoos built to stand the test of time while providing a fun and welcoming experience for our clientele.

    Killian Bundy

    Killian has been tattooing professionally since 2012, and has tattooed at conventions all over the country. He enjoys tattooing large scale bright and bold color designs that are built to stand the test of time.

    Pete Tapang

    Pete enjoyed success as a fine artist in the late 90s, but sought other opportunities in the corporate world developing other skill sets before re discovering his passion for art. In 2021 Pete began his tattoo career where he applied previous experiences to quickly build his skill sets to become one of Northern Virginia’s best custom tattoo artists.

    Ivy Crosier

    Ivy left her job as a preschool teacher in 2020 to become our shop manager and schedule overlord. Ivy began her apprenticeship in 2022 to learn the craft of tattooing. She got her license in 2024 and has continued to learn and grow to develop her own style.
